Getting rid of my desk 10 years ago was the best thing I ever did. I purchased the tall drawer towers (2) and all of my stuff fits in there. I also use a small corner of my small group instruction table for my files. The room is more open- those desks take up A LOT of room- plus, they're not too pretty. Good luck!
