Didn't really notice that. So assume it is processed/approved before
being committed - then use Regular Expression / Perl to insert it into
the site template? Or is it all done manually (cut and paste)?

That's good work, I'm sure many will find it of use. While linking to
the W3C specs is important, perhaps an intermediate page may be better?
Quirks and code samples as well as differences between rendering in
quirks and standards compliant modes could go on that page. I noticed
the bug was filed soon after my initial post (coincidence?).
