Actually I meant to comment on this specifically before...

For starters they got slashdotted, which is an extensive community of
above average users (although with some of the brain dead comments you
really have to wonder) yet you're implying the average user wants
security, if that were the case they would have had more then 100,000
downloads for MS IE... Also most slashdot users are likely to have
access to multiple computers, so again numbers of downloads can't
directly relate to users...

Also the implication here is downloads implying usage, I'm one of the
60,000 but it's no longer being used, a closer indication would be the
unique IPs per hour on average over a 24 hour period...

So while they may have been downloads, how many copies are still in use?
