Thank you for explanation. I made two new mpir_config.py files, they generate old-styled and new-styled projects. You may play with them, they are in build.vc directory in my repository, branch msvc_config: https://github.com/sevlat/mpir/tree/msvc_config There is also a readme.txt in this directory.
