peripherals and b) less jitter e. g. for communication over the uarts because
the 32.768 Hz
are a little less for 9600 or more baud.

The DCO works up to high frequencies. It ties up an I/O pin to get the
hgiher frequencies, as you need to attach an external resistor. It
certainly isn't limited to 4.8MHz, though.
