Yep.maybe...
Maybe I should put together all my MSX stuff and try (I doubt it will work...last time I checked, both my MSXs had their KB busted...).Ufff,plus, I would have to re-install a 5,25'' drive on my PC to copy the disk (Lucky Me, I have tons of those laying around and my PSU has like 6 power connectors & my PC has 3 5,25'' drive bays :P (my DVD & my CDRW use the other 2) )...
Regards,
me!

The prize question is... does it work on a real MSX?? If not, it's probably
not working because it's broken :).

Nope, actually I don't know exactly what it is...I have a .dsk file
that claims to be Zanac Metalica (is not a ROM image), and I can't
play it on any emulator (that's why I'm not sure what it is)...Zanac
EX works like a charm on all emus...

What do you mean with Zanac Metalica ? is that Zanac Ex ? because
that isn't yet in the ROM db, but if you choose for 'Ascii 16Kb' it
will work like a charm too :)

Yep, you're right...NLMSX was incorrectly detecting these ROMs as
"Konami 5 SCC", but after downloading the db.txt file, they work
like a charm now. Thanks!!
(still no Zanac metalica, though :) )
bye!

Sandy Pleyte wrote:

Both ROM's are 'Ascii 8kb'. And yes, if you download the db.txt and
put it in the db directory, NLMSX will auto-detect the ROM type if
it's in the db.txt.

They don't work with NLMSX 0.46 (the ROM versions...the BLOADable
ones do work)
Does NLMSX auto-detect the ROM type??? Or I have to set that
manually???? Which type are these ROMs???
bye!

The only emu so far ? I just tested it with NLMSX and the games
also work

So now there are 2 emu's that can run the games :))
Try to download the ROM's db on the NLMSX
site(http://nlmsx.generation-msx.nl), and NLMSX will select the
correct

rom

type for you (if it's in the db file).

Alright, after playing around with XML files, ROM names & stuff, I
finally got the damn thing to boot my own config (just called
MSX2).And, yes, both lupin ROMs work! (only emu so far..).
But,still no Zanac Metalica!
Best regards,
me!
