The patch seems to work. The writing direction may still be inconsistent
in mlterm, but this may be due to mlterm's support for bidi text when it
encounters Hebrew characters; this is not worse than the previous behavior
anyway. This this patch, characters no longer mysteriously disappear with
some terminal widths, which was a problem with both xterm and mlterm.
Note: for the headers, I suggest also to ignore these bidi marks instead
of replacing them with a replacement character.
