No.  Assuming you are working with defaults (the editor will be vi) then
you have to press esc, and then :wq

You then have to press y to send the message.

I suggest (esp if you are a newbie) to use pico (or joe or jed) as your
editor.  It'll save you a _lot_ of pain.

Put this in your .muttrc - set editor="/usr/local/bin/pico -t -z "
