hi,
i'm using mutt-1.2i with pop3. when i fetch messages from the server, they are stored
into the local mailbox with corrupted (well, from my point of view) From_ line. below
is an example:
the line
< From [EMAIL PROTECTED] Tue Jun 6 10:33:24 2000
becomes
> From ibr Tue Jun 6 10:18:29 2000
(where ibr is my unix username and 10:18 is the time when i fetched the mail).
i'm aware that mutt's pop3 support is rather limited, but what is the reason for such
substitution? can i get the original From_ line without using other tools (like
fetchmail, recommended in doc/manual.txt)?
