...Or if you deal with (Al)Pine+PGP people, because (Al)Pine cannot 
deal with PGP-MIME or any MIME format where one MIME component must be

As for Outlook... I guess you haven't seen GPG4Win? 
http://www.gpg4win.org/index.html It supports PGP/MIME, S/MIME, and a 
few others.
