I thought I'd try getting some audio playlists going on an MVP this
weekend to motivate me to hook up my second MVP to my stereo.
However, it seems that I can't get any audio files to play. I've
mounted the appropriate NFS volume via /etc/nfsmount.sh. I can browse
the filesystem and select a .ogg (or .mp3 or .flac) file. The display
on the TV looks like the file should be playing. The file size is
shown, the time counter advances, but the %done stays at 0%. And
there's no sound. I tried hooking up both the stereo and SPDIF
output, and there's nothing coming from either one (using the file
browser interface to play a .mpg (Myth) video recording, audio comes
out both). This is what I see being printed from mvpmc:

select_callback(): path
'/home/noah/net/public-web/mp3/AHA/minor_EARTH__MAJOR_sky/01_Minor_Earth_Major_Sky.ogg'
switch_hw_state(): changing from 1 to 3

mpeg read thread sleeping...
Setting WSS aspect to: 8
Starting to play audio file
'/home/noah/net/public-web/mp3/AHA/minor_EARTH__MAJOR_sky/01_Minor_Earth_Major_Sky.ogg'
Bitstream is 2 channel, 44100Hz
opened /dev/adec_pcm

I must be doing something dumb, but I don't know what it is. Any suggestions?

Thanks,
Noah
