It now look more like a network issue, because internet radio is
fairly low bandwidth.  I'm surprised though since you say video is
fine.  Maybe telnet to your mvp and see if you are getting a lot of
errors with ifconfig.

Maybe try to dd a big file to /dev/null to get some times.

Are you sure you don't have a duplicate ip on your net?  I don't have
any other suggestions for you.
