I've run into a weird situation: my H3 can boot & download the MVPMC dongle
correctly over a wireless link, but always locks down in the MVPMC splash
screen.

While in the splash screen, block 7 stays white but occasionally flashes
blue. It never transitions green & moves on to start MVPMC. I gather from the
Wiki that it is attempting to DHCP the address that the Hauppauge flash code
already received.

Also while in the splash screen, I can successfully start MVPMC if I insert
an Ethernet cable.

The DHCP failure happens regardless of which DHCP server I use to boot (on my
Linux media server OR on various LAN routers). I've tried fooling around with
various wireless parameters but can't overcome the DHCP failure.

Note that the MVPs Hauppauge flash code can't DHCP at all if I have "WMM
Enable" on the wireless AP. (I.e. Wireless MultiMedia extensions, a simple QoS
feature.) Once I turn that off, the MVP can boot, but subsequently gets stuck
in the MVPMC splash screen.

Has anyone else seen this, and is there a way to overcome it? Bad TTL
setting, bad timing, not sure what's going on.

  Thanks!

  DB
