I believe there are other ways to share Outlook calender and such to Android without going to Google. The phone does have a private Calendar & Contacts (I know because I've put things there that didn't sync to my Google calendar and I almost missed them).
You will still need something for Tasks, though. So you'll have to use *something*, and MLO is awesome. Would you use the Cloud sync anyway? It's provided through Amazon servers, but still "in the cloud". My comments about sync were based on Cloud. Or would you use Wifi sync? Has anyone here tried syncing to both Outlook and Android Wifi? I have a very old Outlook so wouldn't be a good test case even if I had time.
