Hi,

I know there is more than one reason that this error can occur, but I have not seen a good guide to debuging.
It might help, if you are using DBI to do a trace to a log file. I have this happen every once in a while, but can't track it down because it is one query out of hundreds and I can't reproduce it. The same query executing over and over and over, but sometimes it chokes with the Lost connection error. Isn't there a way to make the mysql error log a LOT more verbose?
