*I* am the admin. I don't have a command line utility on my WinXP box. The command line util on Linux works just fine for itself (localhost, daevid.com, 192.168.1.254, etc)
MySQL *is* configured properly otherwise "mascon" would not be able to connect either. I've done this for a while.
