Starting MySQL

[cam vong]

I'm currently using Red Hat 7.1. I have loaded the apache, php, and mysql rpm. I seem to be having trouble starting MySQL. It gives me the following error: Can not connect to localhost MySQL server through socket /var/lib/mysql/mysql.sock (111). Can some help me, please?
