I tried this and get a 0 affect below..
mysql> GRANT SELECT,INSERT,UPDATE,DELETE,INDEX, ALTER,CREATE,DROP,REFERENCES ON bugs.* TO [EMAIL PROTECTED] IDENTIFIED BY 'marvin'; Query OK, 0 rows affected (0.00 sec)
OK, I assume 'bugs' and 'marvin' are the values in bugzilla's config file; can you log in from the MySQL client using them instead of the root user/pwd?
