For the same reason Lynnette doesn't guarantee, I do. None of my
clients have lifting or nails coming off randomly so Im not worried
the guarantee will cost me... what it does do is tell the new clients
that I am offering a service good enough to have a guarantee. I
always compare it to buying anything else - a car with no guarantee
compared to one with a 3 year guarantee is going to make someone
wonder if the reason for no guarantee is that the quality is poor. I
don't guarantee against picking or biting, but against workmanship
flaws (bad for fit or something completely random). I let them know
as they are leaving (before they pay) their nails are guaranteed and
to call me as soon as there is any issue whatsoever. It gives them a
big smile and makes them feel like they are really paying for quality
in more ways than one. If your nails are great, its more marketing
and client satisfaction than anything that will end up costing you.
