Angie,
You did just fine. You can use either eco Sealer - yes remove the
dispersion layer first - (the quick dry polish type of topcoat) or
the eco Clear - right over the previous dispersion layer THEN use
Wipe to remove the tacky layer, then you can add the Sealer if you
want. I have seen some slight discoloration on smokers without using
the Sealer. One thought process is if you use the Sealer, you can
retail it to them to freshen up the shine in between appointments!
Remember - all soak off gels are porous - that is why they can be
soaked off - so if they tan, color their hair, smoke, you will get
discoloration.
