Lorraine,
It really didn't soak off well. I used Echo remover and the cotton and foil, let sit for 10 min. By the time I got to the last finger it had soaked for at least 20 min. I had to file the last layer off. Do you think I used to much base? It was a french and it really did stay on well. I did rough it up before soaking. Do you think I roughed up the natural nail to much before I applied? I was real frustrated and I have five more clients coming back with this on. One coat of base, one coat of pink, white on tip and clear is the coats I did.

Angie if you had trouble soaking off, it could be 2 things - the primer/protein bond, and you might have applied to thick. When I say I apply thin I mean I apply it THIN. I am doubtful that too MUCH prep would cause it not to soak off. Maybe Elaine can chime in on this also, I know she was away last week and was too busy to answer my IM's today.

I'll shoot one more picture now and upload to the Red Rock Gallery so you can see I mean THIN :) OK that has been done. See the Ruby Red gallery: http://www.manicuresthatlast.com/catalog/photo-gallery-t-5.html or http://picasaweb.google.com/105978840163568701004/RubyRed# (O am having trouble with the gallery page tonight for some reason)

The last set I had was compared to this maybe 3x's as thick, very noticeable when you looked "down the barrel"
