I had to chime in......way to go Anna Z!!!! Love your comments!! Right on
sister!! Lol....I too have the same experience. I'm in a full service, quaint
and comfortable salon with a consistent 100 on our health score. We are in a
small rural town in Tennessee which makes it imperative to retain clients
because the pickings are slim. I don't rush my clients out the door...heck, I
let them take smoke breaks between their mani and pedi...some even bring lunch
to eat on our back deck. I pride myself on my work and staying up on my
education and all the latest trends. I only use top of the line products as
well. However, every time I speak with a woman who has their nails done or
comments on how great mine look and I give them one of my business cards...they
all tell me they go to __________.......the same little crappy "strip" shop
salon. I've heard nightmares about this place...I've even had to fix some of
their mistakes but they're still the busiest place in town.
I've been told by some that they go there because its cheap and fast....just
great. How does one compete??

It's very frustrating!!!! Just my 2 cents!!
