Maybe a question should be asked on why people don't take interest to
begin with.

I seem to remember a lot of interest with the NANOG reform movement. At
its core it had several issues. Some of which, in my opinion have not been
met in any way. Visibility of actions taken as one example.

I like what's going on and the people who DO and take part in how things
run and will run. People who care.

Somehow, though, nothing really feels any different. If it has the
appearance of being for show, many don't bother.
