I, for one, am quite satisfied with the volume of v6 content currently on the agenda for the Brooklyn NANOG.
As a transit purchaser, it's apparent that nothing's really changed in the way of v6 service delivery in North America. With the exception of 2914, I'm unaware of any tier 1 providers offering dual stack on customer connections in an unconstrained manner. Getting tunnels from many has been like pulling teeth, networks on the v6 presentation circuit included. And that doesn't touch on the problem of sending potentially tens of gigabits of traffic over a GRE or IP-IP tunneled network. If somebody has some original content to present outlining the successful deployment of v6 on a large-scale access or content network, or obstacles they've encountered along the way, I'd like to hear of it. Otherwise I think it's best we clear the agenda for topics of greater operational relevance. Hats off to the PC, et al, for their hard work developing an engaging list of talks per usual. $0.02, -a _______________________________________________ Nanog-futures mailing list [email protected] http://mailman.nanog.org/mailman/listinfo/nanog-futures
