There were 22.5 and 45 volt models that were albout the same size as a modern 1604 (006P) 0V battery.
The 0V batteries are nicely designed as you can snap them together in a row and use one cut appart snap to gather the required voltage. 5 units will give 45 volts, common in tube battery radios for example.
