Yes, I bought a mint Series 1 (1985) from a university 16x8, molexed and modular with balanced auxs and balanced buss outputs in 2003 for 1800.00.... It was loaded 10x4, and was expanded with 1E channels and bus modules from a beat up 12x4 bought from Juliard in NY, for parts /extra power supply/ channels...etc. for 500.00 in 2004.... I am thankful that I got it before the analog summing craze set off.... I imagine that the prices for Neo's with their reputations have increases in the past couple of years..... luv it to death! I recently finished an ENTIRE recap (with black gates and Wima's) The sound is astoundingly 3D and really warm....see it /

They are both modular with the molex pins. The first was a 24 channel 4 buss on a stand, short loaded to 16 channels, all input strips 1E. P&G faders, No patch-bay all 1/4" and XLR on the back. It was in 99% working order. It was made in 1987 for CBS Chicago I believe. I purchased it from Mike at Sytek refurbished for $4000. I bought it in 2004. According to Mike this was one of the last Series 1 consoles made. The second one was a 16 channel 8 buss table top short loaded to 12 channels all inputs had 3 band eqs. Alps faders, Not patch-bay all 1/4" and XLR on the back I purchased it in 90% working order for $1400. It had lived in a community college in Atlanta and was built in 1985. I bought it in 2005. I feel that I got pretty good deal on both of these consoles but clearly the difference in price was a lot. The other issue that has a big effect on price is location and shipping costs.
