Agreed.
I am rebuilding a Series 1, 24 x 8 with a dorrough meter built in,
switchable from 2 track output to L-R output and Solo, a power supply
completely redone by Ralph Skelton, recapped on everything relative to
passing power, going to have some Ike Zimbel Balanced sub and mic outs
when we work out the details, new duncans where needed, new faceplate,
all original leather and oak with everything in better than original
working condition and I wouldn't even consider any offer less than 10k
just for my time, investment and the sound quality. It's a lot like
buying a muscle car, you can get one on blocks or one ready for show
but there are a LOT of zero's that differentiate the two.
