he DC offset control is and always has been for removing DC from the
mic pre pot. The DC offset on the output of the mic pre is negligible.
After you have nulled the DC, you can, with discretion, use D5 (or F5)
as a cleaner on the pot. Remember to use the minimum amount possible!
(It couldn't hurt to trim the power supplies first either).

In all Neotek preamps that I have experience with (series I, II,
III, Elite), you will measure DC voltage on that pot. That is how
