Thats weird cause I remember getting a new Élan from Neotek back in the 90s and having issues right out of the box with some scratchiness on the mic pre pots which was attended to by Johnny from Neotek (remember him?), who said he 'needed to zero out the DC offset with a trim pot'. Are the Élan and Elite different in this regard? Was he bullshitting us? My memory isn't the best, so it may be my own human error here.
