Pete, I'm using a Velodyne VA-1215X in conjunction with my ProAc Studios (powered by a Hafler 9505). The Velodyne does have a speaker-thru, but since I wanted to run the monitors full-range and use the sub to fill in the 20-50Hz area, I'm simply using a passive split off the Monitor A outs of my Series 1E. No problems whatsoever.
