One would set up the filtering on a webmail only service (say, gmail). One would set up filtering on the mail store (procmail, seive, etc). One would use client side filtering that use headers, From addresses, etc. Each message is rife with headers that contain information telling where it's from. The "Date" field does not. It contains the Date the message was sent. The "Subject" field does not. It contains the message's Subject. The header "From:" will contain the sender's address, but the envelope "From " contains the list sender info. If the tool you're using doesn't have the capabilities you want, change tools. I have an old circular saw that tends to bind up on hardwoods if I cut quickly. To fix it, I didn't ask for precut wood, or softer woods. I got a better blade and eventually a better saw. You can use a better mail user agent (mua) that might even wraps long lines right, along with filtering. ------------------------------------------------------- SF.Net email is sponsored by Shop4tech.com-Lowest price on Blank Media 100pk Sonic DVD-R 4x for only $29 -100pk Sonic DVD+R for only $33 Save 50% off Retail on Ink & Toner - Free Shipping and Free Gift. http://www.shop4tech.com/z/Inkjet_Cartridges/9_108_r285 _______________________________________________ Net-snmp-users mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] Please see the following page to unsubscribe or change other options: https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/net-snmp-users
