That fixed up the vacm token errors - Thanks. The second part of this problem relates to the USM user creation. My users were all erased upon running 5.2.4 the first time.
I ran net-snmp-config --create-snmpv3-user -A SHA -a password -X AES -x password SHAAESUser. That put the proper line in /var/net-snmp/snmpd.conf and /usr/local/share/snmp/snmpd.conf but when I start the agent it complains again /var/net-snmp/snmpd.conf: Line 34: Warning: Unknown token: CreatUser No user is created in the /var/net-snmp/snmpd.conf file, the rwuser SHAAESUser remains in /usr/local/share/snmp/snmpd.conf And that leads to USM problems - am I missing something else? The Docs say the USM module is always compiled in. If you add it back in those tokens should reappear (this has since been corrected in the source tree but hasn't made it to a release yet). -- Wes Hardaker Sparta, Inc.
