Hi, Zorros
Now I'm working on a desktop linux machine(x86), my net-snmp is configured
with default (./configure ), if I get oid value via snmp v2, it works well, but
can't via v3, firstly I know I should add a v3 user to system, so I issued the
command according with man
guide(http://net-snmp.sourceforge.net/docs/man/snmpusm.html):
[EMAIL PROTECTED] net-snmp-5.4.2.1]# rwuser initial
-bash: rwuser: command not found
[EMAIL PROTECTED] net-snmp-5.4.2.1]# rwuser wes
-bash: rwuser: command not found
surely, the next command failed too :
[EMAIL PROTECTED] net-snmp-5.4.2.1]# createUser initial MD5 setup_passphrase DES
-bash: createUser: command not found
[EMAIL PROTECTED] net-snmp-5.4.2.1]# snmpusm -v3 -u initial -n "" -l authNoPriv
-a MD5 -A setup_passphrase localhost create wes initial
snmpset: Unknown user name
then, how can I add a v3 user successfully?
Thanks
BOMB
