Hmmm...   not what I'd expected.

Either:
    -  the agent has been compiled with a *very* restricted set of MIBs
or
    -  the agent isn't using the snmpd.conf file that you think it is
or
    -  this isn't the Net-SNMP agent at all


Try walking the whole tree (  "snmpwalk .... localhost .1")
What do you see?
