With which ActivePerl version and which Visual Studio version did this
happen ? Also, what is the first error message reported in
win32/perlmake.out ? I just tried to build the Net-SNMP Perl modules with
Visual Studio 2010 and hit an error message that indicates that the
ActivePerl Perl header files are incompatible with the Visual Studio 2010
header files:

C:\Perl\lib\CORE\sys/socket.h(34) : warning C4005: 'ENOTSOCK' : macro
redefinition
        C:\Program Files\Microsoft Visual Studio
10.0\VC\INCLUDE\errno.h(120) : see previous definition of 'ENOTSOCK'

This is something ActiveState should fix and that did not occur with
previous Visual Studio versions.
