I hope that I can make this :) but the Linux-box is damaging a lot of
files from my macs (jpeg, Pagemaker, Freehand-files) :( I hope that
someone works on this problem (please fast).

I have a NT-box but it makes exactly this problems (and much more).
Therefore I bought the Linux and I want to serve the macs with Linux.
But Netatalk makes many problems for which nobody has a solution
