Actually, as I recall, that is not totally correct. Yes, most people seem to
think
that an MCU is required. But it's not. I have seen a few companies that did
video
to multipoint with no MCU. The standard seems to accommodate this ad-hoc
mode...
Then again, we are all used to requiring an MCU for multipoint conferencing.
