I don't know the specific products/provider you are using but many dsl
providers use NAT routers as "modems". A sure sign you are behind a NAT
router is if your IP as shown in the NM help about box is from the private
set ( 192.168.x.x, 172.16/31.x.x, 10.x.x.x). If this is the case you may
experience two symptoms - incoming NM calls will not be possible and NM
audio video will be one way ( outgoing ) only.
Unless there is an upgrade to your modem/router to support H.323 ( which
would allow 2 way audio video) the only options are to convince your
supplier to run in "bridging" instead of "routing" mode ( if your equipment
allows) or to change providers.
