the device detection tool dynamically matches hardware to a set of
known solaris drivers (including 3rd party drivers) on any given
system, and even provides url's to download unbundled drivers:

it essentially automates most of the steps outlined in your blog.
That is nice. However I can see two area need to be provided. First is
to make it
appear in google's search result when you ask for something like "how to
make
network card work on Solaris". Another is to prolong the list of that
DDT and
find and give suggestion.
