Michael,

I have FAT32 on my primary partition, but I have had no configuration problems whatsoever.  Of course, in order to access the partition once you're in Linux, you'll need VFAT support compiled into your kernel.  My advice would be to stay away from Partition Magic or similar utilities unless you're venturing into dual/triple-boot territory... ;)  (in other words, unnecessary)

John,

It would depend on wether or not you have formated the 2.5GB disk as FAT32
(incld. w/Windows95 OSR2) If you have you would need a 3rd party tool like
Partition Magic.
But as always... backup first.

Seeking the lists advice:
I currently have two hard drives in my machine, a 2.5gig and a 1gig.
Windows 95 currently resides on the 2.5gig drive. I would like to install
Mandrake on the 1gig drive and be able to have dual booting system. Can
LILO reside on the MBR of the 2.5gig and pass off the boot process to the
1gig drive? If not, is there a way to go about doing this?
Your thoughts are appreciated.
