I have been attempting to get KDE to function properly since the release of
Mandrake 5.3. I have tried a Matrox G200, two brands of RIVA TNT cards, a
Matrox Millennium II, and an ATI Rage Pro AGP, and the result is always a
virtual desktop in KDE. I have tried editing out the XF86Config file to
remove the virtual settings, but I have had no luck. With Mandrake 5.2, the
Millennium II was properly found and worked fine. This is happening on more
than one machine, and also with Red Hat 5.1. I can't figure it out, can
someone shed some light on this?
