I've tried to figure that one out. I've booted using the rescue disk, but
don't have access to the rc.sysinit file and I tried to boot into single
user mode by typing linux 1 at the lilo prompt, but it wouldn't go any
further than before. I keep thinking that it has to do with the cd or the
iso it was burned from. I have red hat 6.0 and it install no problem. I'm
beginning to wonder if I can upgrade the individual packages from the
mandrake cd to upgrade my redhat install to the mandrake version?
