Hmm...Ok. AFAICT this should work just fine. The Viper v770
is based on the Riva TNT chipset, and IIRC, that's
supported by the SVGA server.

Here's what I'd do...I'd go to the nVidia website and
download the TNT drivers for Linux and see if that
helps....sorry I don't recall the URL.
