i tried to install dvd::rip 2 days ago on my redhat 8.0 system. if i remember correctly, i had to install gtk-perl, glade, gdk_pixbuf, libdv, libdvdcss, libdvdread, subtitleripper, lame, among other things before the transcode and dvd::rip rpms would install. and in the end, after installing like 10 rpms that i had to track down from various places, dvd::rip didn't work at all.
i ended up learning how to do all that stuff from the command line...which i'm realizing is the best way to learn how to do things...=/ -- christopher ----- Original Message ----- From: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: "newbie" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Monday, December 23, 2002 8:55 PM Subject: Re: [newbie] DVD Ripping transcode? > Did any of you guys have trouble installing transcode?
