[newbie] KDE 3.1

Installed KDE 3.1 from Mandrake Club. No major problem with the installation. However I lost my volume control icon on the taskbar and cannot find a way to get it back. Any suggestions?

Also whenever I close Konquror I get a SIG11SIGSEGV. It works but does not want to close down apparently.
