You need to add the hd?=ide-scsi line to lilo.conf and reload lilo by issuing the lilo command. When you install a new CDwriter drive, Mandrake does not detect and automatically set it up to emulate SCSI, you need to add the line manually to do that. -- Bryan Phinney Software Test Engineer
