[newbie] window managers

Hello ALL!!

here is my little problem.
I run exceed from a winblows pc at work.
I would like to xport the KDE window and all its fun stuff to the winblows
box.
I tried using DMCP but I never get a login prompt after I select the server
to manage.
any ideas?
