Thanks,

Couple of questions. Is urpmi the backend of Mandrake update, or a totally different thing?

If I use Mandrake update, does that pull from the same source as the cooker(specifically in mandrake 10CE)? Or should I be using urpmi exclusively?

Thanks agian!

No here is a NEWBIE question.....what/where is the "cooker"?

As to what/where...

http://www.mandrakelinux.com/en/cookerdevel.php3 has a mirror list, but factor in http://manu.agat.net/mandrake/mirrors_state.html

On the first link above, read the whole page, and particularly the cooker twiki links
