This is a public mirror system and it is up to the owner of the mirror to make sure it gets updated properly. Mandrake has reorganized it's primary mirror and cannot control what everybody else is doing. As for timing, the time of now is probably the best there is. Knowing it was going to take some time topropgate the changes to the mirrors, the timing between 10.0 being sent to manufacturer and the release of the boxed sets is probably the best time. Any sooner and beta testing would have been disrupted and any later and the update wouldn't have been in place for the release of the boxes (which would have really been criticized, oh you don't think so?)
