Simply put, you set up the MDK server as a DHCP server - so that all the
"client" machines are set for DHCP; install Samba on the OS/X box so
that you have SMB protocol across all machines (and of course, make sure
they're all in the same workgroup); setup the ADSL router for your ADSL,
setup a firewall on the MDK server with NAT for the DHCP network - and
all in all, that's purty much it.

Nothing "eclectic" about it really - aside from setting up Samba on the
OS/X box - but that should be a piece of cake.

The wiki site has heaps of information about it if anything - and you
can get quite creative with your network as well - like setting up an
internal mail server, groupware stuff, etc etc etc...there is no
limit...especially when you're using GNU/linux as your server and
backbone...
